Since 1986 the Warsteiner brewery is hosting the international Montgolfiade in Warstein (http://warsteiner-wim.de), which is now taking place in yearly rhythm. During nine days, up to two times a day (if weather permits) in the morning and in the evening, hundreds of hot-air balloons lift off into the sky over the Sauerland. But most famous, and probably also most spectacular, are the evenings' highlights: 'balloon night-glow' (dozens of balloons on the meadow, enlighted to the beat of music by their blowers) and the obligatory spectacular fireworks, Enjoy some impression from the 2015 and 2016 Montgolfiades here.
