One of the gifts for our wedding (by our parents) was a voucher for a hot air balloon tour. So we undertook the tour in August 2017, with the Ballonteam Lippstadt.
Of course I took my photo cameras with me to acquire some images of the beautiful Lippe meadows and the surrounding areas from above. Here below you can find some examples, both of visible and infrared images taken at that occasion. A hot air balloon tour offers to see the world from above in a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. While standing safe and comfortable like with both feeds on the ground, you will find yourself at heights a few hundred meters above ground.
The earth below looks like on a model railroad plate (I could as well have posted these galleries in the Lanscapes section). What a nice occasion to take some photos...
I did use my both cameras, for visible and for infrared photography, and you can find two galeries here below. Compare the galleries for an impression of the differences of the two techniques. If you like to learn more about IR photography, visit the Infrared photography section.
