Every year starting the wednesday after All Saints' Day the city of Soest hosts for five days the largest old town fair in entire Europe, the so-called "Allerheiligenkirmes". It is at the same time the oldest fair in North Rhine-Westphalia. All the
blinking lights, music and modern attractions between the half timbered houses in Soest's old town center create a special atmosphere, attracting about a million visitors every year. During the
five days, Soest is 'upside down' celebrating its biggest party of the year - so worth a visit...
