Explore here snapshots of some cities I have recently visited. My own personal favorites mostly are the night shots -  the required long exposure time can give us a view that we usually do not have the time to enjoy, in the haste of every-day live.

Heavily destroyed during World War II, many historic sites now shine in renewed splendor again.

Frankfurt am Main, also called "Mainhattan", major financial centre in the geographic centre of the EU.

Home to Germany's oldest university, Heidelberg attracts numerous tourists every year with its castle and town-center.

Located between vine-covered hills at the banks of river Moselle, this former Roman metropolis is possibly the oldest city in Germany.
